Perth Riverside Light Nights 2020 – a fantastic sound and light show in Perth City Centre, beside the River Tay.
When: 25 January – 2 February 2020 (with themed parades on 25 January and 1 February)
Time: 5 – 9pm
Where: Along the banks of the River Tay (Norie Miller Walk and Tay Street)
Cost: Free except School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Jurassic Perth (£5)

Sat 25 & Sun 26 January – Robert Burns Night
Celebrations in honour of the bard, Robert Burns. There’s a parade on Saturday 25 Jan at 5pm, starting at 2 High Street, heading to Norie Miller Walk.
There’s an all day market too as well as pipe bands performing.
27 January – Music In The Park
Live music from local bands
28 & 29 January – The School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry
You can attend in fancy dress! See real Harry Potter actors, do some broomstick training and get your picture taken on a flying broom.
See the owls and costume characters, with all sorts of props used in the films.
Visit the flying car!
Have a wand duel and learn some spells

30 & 31 Jan – Jurassic Perth
Amazing chance to mingle with dinosaurs
There are 8 dinosaurs to meet in this family-friendly interactive event.
Pre-historic props, special effects, giant dinosaur eggs and more!
Watch out for a life-size T Rex, a Raptor, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, and some baby dinosaurs too
Take part in Ranger Training (workshops throughout the evening)
There’s a Dinosaur Dome that you can climb into and enjoy a 360 degree cinematic experience.

Perth does Chinese New Year so well.

There will be storytelling and street performers.
