Autumn Glory
AUTUMN IS THE BEST SEASON OF ALL
Or as my mother would say …”if it wasn’t for the shortening of the days!”
I don’t mind the shortening of the days. I embrace the cosiness of Autumn, or ‘Fall’ for our Transatlantic friends.
The colours, the smells, the slow build of excitement for Hallowe’en, then Christmas (can I say that word yet?)
Perthshire, in particular is a fiery pallet of colour in the Autumn months. Come and see for yourselves.
There are lots of events on around this time of year:
HISTORY AND HORROR TOUR OF PERTH:
Every Friday at 8pm.
Hear terrifyingly terrible tales as you walk in the footsteps of real life scary characters.
The History and Horror Tour is recommended for age 8 years upwards, A bit of inclement weather doesn’t bother us and the tour tends to go ahead in most weathers. Dress accordingly.
BLACK WATCH CASTLE AND MUSEUM:
Hallowe’en hauntings 26 October 14 -4pm £10 per child
Includes hauntingly spooky tours, crafts and story-telling.

THE ENCHANTED FOREST
… un til 3 November – this is a stunning sound and light show right in the middle of Faskally Woods, Pitlochry.
An amazing experience – and I should know! Here’s out visit to The Enchanted Forest from last year.
Symphony of Nature is this year’s theme.
