Scone Palace: Falconry display from Raptor world, 7 April 2017 – 12 noon to 4pm in the grounds outside the palace, with a fantastic flying display at 2.00pm.

Cadbury’s Egg Hunts: Another year and another chocolatey and eggciting partnership between Cadbury and National Trust Scotland.
Cadbury’s eggs are hidden at National Trust properties all over Scotland .The Easter Bunny has left clues at each property to point you in the right direction.

Accessibility note Disabled visitors can park at the garden entrance by arrangement with shop staff.
The garden is set on a hillside – some paths are accessible by wheelchair and there are benches at various points.
The shop has a ground-level entrance. The toilets have been adapted for disabled use.
Easter Eggs
Easter Egg-Stravaganza at the Scottish Crannog Centre
On Easter Sunday take a step back in time with the Crannog expert guides who will demonstrate ancient cooking methods making pancakes and more. Tastings will take place throughout the day. Part of the Scottish Crannog Centre’s 20th anniversary celebratory programme recognising the importance of the unique Crannog collection discovered during underwater research.
Accessibility note:
Access to the Crannog roundhouse is via an authentic round log walkway on stilts above the loch. Due to the uneven surface, access over the walkway to the Crannog using mobility scooters is not possible, sorry. Access for those with disabilities is limited but staff are willing to assist wherever possible.
I phoned the Crannog and was told that the access report below is not strictly accurate and is about to be re-written. Wheelchairs and scooters with bigger wheels can mange much better than electric wheelchairs with very small wheels. Phone for more advice +44 (0)1887 830583
Scone Palace: Easter Sunday Pirate Fun Day 16 April 2017 12 – 4pm
Prize for the ‘Best Dressed Pirate’! Treasure hunt and walking the plank.
Bouncy adventure ship for smaller pirates, pirate face painting, balloon modelling (swords, pirate hats, fish, treasure),
Plus traditional Easter activities including Easter Bonnet making and Easter Egg Rolling.
Accessibility Note:
Parking spaces close as possible to the entrance of the Palace. Ask staff on arrival and they will direct you to these spaces. More information on accessibility at the ticket hut in the car park. There is a wheelchair lift into the Palace which is accessed via the Gift Shop. the grounds and gardens have well laid out paths.

Loads of activities on at the Blackwatch: Easter Egg Gallery Trail 1 – 17 Apr 9.30 – 3.30pm. #Scotspirit giant letters 7 – 10 April 9.30-4.30. Family crafts 8 and 9th April 1-4pm drop in and weave your own tartan.
