Mary Queen of Scots last letter
Until 26 April
Mary wrote this letter just before her execution 8 February 1587.
A piece of actual living history, not to be missed.
Mary wrote, “I am to be executed like a criminal …” Poor Mary, I’ve always felt a strong empathy for her plight. Not
just because we share the same name either.
Plenty more to see at Perth Museum, including the famous Stone of Destiny.
