September What’s on
Autumn has been slow in arriving but it’s coming all the same.
There’s a great line up of things to see and do in September and into October.
The Hauntings
Balhousie Castle, Blackwatch Museum, Perth until 12 November
What a stunning installation.
This sculpture, of a battle-weary soldier is made with bits of metal and stands 6 metres tall, in the Blackwatch Castle courtyard.
There’s a series of events and exhibitions around The Hauntings, looking at the impact of conflict as well as remembrance and reflection.
You can see the sculpture, free of charge until the 13th November.

The Glorious Finale
27 and 28 September, Perth Racecourse
The racing season ends with this Glorious Finale.
This has been running since 1613 in Perth!
It closes the racing season with top class racing, stunning scenery and a great atmosphere.
