Maybe aye maybe no.

We will be kept busy over the coming weeks with our maintenance and refurbishment programme – it’s a long list. We’ll be all ready to welcome you all back by 1st March (maybe aye maybe no!)

To give us a break, we’ve been getting out in the hills and glens for long walks. We’ve also managed to do a few chunks of the Great Glen Way, a long distance trail between Fort William and Inverness. What a stunning trail to hike. You can do this trail by boat or bike too.

The part of the trail between Drumnadrochit and Inverness was spectacular, with beautiful views of Loch Ness. What an abundance of wildlife too

Our new chicks are now huge and noisy, and we’ll soon be integrating them with the existing hens – that should be fun. We need to watch carefully that the pecking order does not become too unfriendly.

The girls have started laying already – and in the depths of a Scottish Winter too. Good for them.

Hopefully Covid behaves and we can get on with providing our guests with comfortable self-catering accommodation, continuing to provide the perfect base for showcasing Scottish tourism at it’s best in Perthshire and beyond
