The Solheim cup returns to the ‘home of golf’ here in Scotland – the first time since 2000.
At Gleneagles in Perthshire, the PGA Centenary Course (used for the Ryder Cup in 2014).
Just a short distance from us at River Edge Lodges. We already have bookings for this event, keen golfers who want to have a holiday playing on the many fantastic courses nearby.

It’s the 16th year of this exciting women’s golf competition, with teams made up of 12 golfers representing Europe and the USA

By the way … Did you know that golf was invented in Scotland and the first recorded game of golf is from the 1400s.
Travel
For our neck of the woods there is a Park and Ride facility in Perth: St Johnston Football Club, McDiarmid Park.
