Cross Stitch Picture of River Edge Lodges

When Clare Revell (the author who is writing a crime thriller set in Perth) arrived for her holiday last week, she gave me a present. When I opened it I couldn’t express how touched and overwhelmed I was by the gift. Clare had taken a photo from River Edge Lodges of the Bridge going over the River Earn, out of the village. I know the photo as it’s Clare’s banner photo on face book. But Clare had done a cross stitch picture of that exact view, with the detail such as the lamps on the bridge and the sunlight under the bridge so painstakingly stitched. It’s absolutely stunning. The local paper were interested to hear the story and there’s a piece in this weeks paper. This is the most thoughtful and significant present I’ve ever received. Thank you Clare.
