Here at River Edge Lodges we work hard to ensure all our visitors enjoy their stay. We aim to allow access for all our guests, and are committed to meeting the needs of our visitors to the best of our ability. We want to describe, accurately our accommodation and facilities to inform you, the guest so that you can make the right choice for you and your party. We have 6 lodges with wheelchair access where the accommodation is all on one level. One  lodge (Lodge 5) has an accessible wet room. Our lodges are next to the River Earn, with views of Moncreiffe Hill. We are on the edge of the village of Bridge of Earn (3 miles from Perth)There is parking right beside the lodge.

 Travel by public transport

  • You can get to River Edge Lodges by bus and train.
  • The bus stop is 161 meters (0.10 miles)  away, from River Edge Lodges, on Main Street, Bridge of Earn. It is outside the school and opposite the Co-op supermarket.
  • There is also an electric bus, called Ember that runs between Dundee and Edinburgh which stops in Bridge of Earn, 0.8km (0.5 miles) away at the South end of the village.
  • The nearest train station is Perth. The train station is 6.4km (4 miles) from River Edge Lodges.
  • There is a bus station opposite the train station where you can catch a bus to Bridge of Earn. There is also a taxi rank outside the station.
  • You can get a taxi from the village with Rab’s Cabs, 01738 444999 (07761640130). The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Also Kintillo Cabs, Bridge of Earn 01738 306060.
  • In Perth you can get a taxi with Perth Radio Taxis, 01738 580058. .The taxi company has a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Also, A&B Taxis 01738 634567 and Ace Taxis: 01738 444000

  • We have parking immediately adjacent to the lodge.
  • Parking is free
  • From the car park to the front door there is a permanent ramp.
  • The route is 950mm wide, or more.

  • The main entrance has level access.
  • The main door is side hung and manual.

  • When you arrive, we can help carry your luggage.

Getting around inside

 River Edge Lodges Reception

  • From the main entrance to Reception, there is level access.The door is 850mm wide.
  • You can sit down at reception. But there is no need to come to Reception as we can leave your key at the lodge.

 Bedrooms

  • All bedrooms have windows.
  • Bedrooms have ceiling lights, bedside lamps and natural daylight.
  • TVs have subtitles.
  • All bedrooms are non-smoking.
  • We have non-allergenic bedding.
  • Some bedrooms have fitted carpets.
  • We can move the bedroom furniture, to improve accessibility.
  • We have bed blocks.
  • The route to the bedroom is 750mm wide, or more.The bedroom door is 750mm wide.There is 640mm at the side of the bed.The bed is 530mm high.There is 260mm under the bed.
  • The River Edge Lodge has 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. There’s more room to manoever in the twin room. Elcho Lodge has 1 double bedroom.

  • There is 1170mm in front of the toilet.The toilet seat is 430mm high.
  • The basin is 830mm high.There is space under the basin, with a pedestal.
