River Edge Lodges holiday accommodation near Perth

29 June 2008. Well, mixed weather for the last week. Sunny yesterday, I was over in Arbroath and my nose burnt.  This week we have 3 lots of returning visitors. Welcome back to them. We have friends from Australia coming to stay this week and we're taking them to the Angus Hills and Glen Clova to climb a couple of Munros. National Hunt Racing at Perth Racecourse next week, Elton John playing at Perth Concert Hall on 6th, Joan Armatrading on 26th. Phew! It's all happnin at Perth.

We are a small family-run business, providing comfortable self-catering accomodation with high quality service. Our lodges are by the banks of the beautiful River Earn and overlooked by Moncreiffe Hill.

At River Edge Lodges, you can relax and enjoy your home from home. The lodges are situated in secluded grounds, yet only minutes from the shops and amenities of the village of Bridge of Earn, with the Fair City of Perth only 3 miles to the North.

Our central location makes us the perfect choice for touring and exploring. You can travel in any direction and not be too far from River Edge Lodges.

We have a play area for children, where they can safely let off steam.  We have two sociable goats, hens, cockerels, rabbits, guinea pigs, a cat plus our four children!

We have many guests who return to River Edge Lodges every year, and sometimes several times a year!

We are open all year round and this lovely area has something to offer for all the seasons. Skiing and snowboarding at Glenshee in winter, stunning walks in autumn and spring, as well as the usual summer holiday haunts.

Perth was the winner of 'Britain in Bloom' 2006 (large town/small city category), and Bridge of Earn won the best 'Large Village' in Take a Pride in Perthshire 2006.
